I am absolutely losing my mind over this stupid ass broken ass pre-patch for Battle for Azeroth that has caused so many seemingly random yet massively game-breaking bugs.
WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE
So there I am, minding my own goddamn business, questing through Stonetalon on my orc mage, when I notice the rare elite Pridewing Patriarch.
“Rare elite means shinies,” says my monkey brain, and I immediately cast my fireball and begin my assault.
And then I just die.
You see, despite Stonetalon being a level 20-60 zone, apparently Pridewing Patriarch is 110.
I’ve come to find out, he was readded back in 7.2 with level scaling from level 25 to 110 for hunters to tame after being missing since Cata.
I’ve also come to find out, his level scaling is busted as of Patch 8.0, and he is now just level 110 all the time.
Seriously, I love this patch. It’s the broken mess that gives me such stupid joy.
how do i mine for fish? fuck that, that’s so 2004
in 2018 we’re skinning azerite elementals for ore
and it’s BFA ore (so, seriously don’t go mining elementals for ores that are unobtainable, you may get banned)
Me: Man, modern movie posters are just dumb photoshopped nonsense
“Godzilla: King of the Monsters”: we got you, man
Like, honestly? This is just utterly beautiful. And it’s a pretty awesome callback to 1991’s “Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah”, just this prehistoric Monster grappling with an evil golden dragon
Painted (whether digitally or physically) movie posters should really make a comeback, like holy crap!
One thing I want to call attention to… our localization team is amazing, and one of their stated goals is for the game to feel like it was made in our players’ native language. They really do go above and beyond to make that happen, and this video is a prime example of that in action.
(This is the final part to Act II of Aurelian’s story! Read the previous part here)
Aurelian straightened his sleeves as he stood up, looking
across to the body of his relative. There was always something rewarding of a
plan coming together perfectly; it even made the wine taste good despite its
obnoxious flavor. Illuria Indaris was dead by his hand, and he did not feel an
ounce of regret. It was just business, in a sense. Perhaps had he known her for
more time he might have felt some form of sorrow yet looking now at her
lifeless form he felt contempt.
“Not a true Indaris; hah.” He stumbled a bit as he stepped
forward, having to brace himself against the table. He had not lied when he
said both him and Illuria had been poisoned, feeling its effects begin to creep
into his system even now. It was a bit risky he confessed, but with great risks
came great rewards. He looked up to see Balor standing at the doorway, arms
crossed.
A lot of horde players are sad and angry about Teldrassil and Undercity because it feels like our characters have no way to opt out of these terrible deeds.
Remember:just because we play through a big part of the story doesn’t mean our characters have to participate ICly. Everyone had to play through the Legion artifact questlines but plenty of people didn’t incorporate those exact events into their character’s story, if at all.
The frustration over BFA is justified, but instead of feeling “forced” into it, think of these huge world-shifting events as interesting challenges to write/plan around. If your horde character wouldn’t/doesn’t want to participate they don’t have to! you just have to figure out how. There are no wrong ways to do it.
