god its so funny to me that in wow, a place where theres so much undiscovered land and unknown mystery, wrathion just automatically thinks he’s the last black dragon. like….he didnt even look around before saying that. before we went there, we knew the broken isles existed. we knew kul tiras and zandalar existed. he didnt even bother to check. not to mention other “mystery” lands like all the islands (for expeditions) or the dragon isles which we’ve never seen. wrathion just thinks he’s the last one cause he’s a dumbass. that’s like being alone in  your own house and thinking well. guess i’m the last human alive.

😦

fuck dude im so sorry.

Reasons why Millennials prefer e-mail to phone in a work environment:

deathcomes4u:

anais-ninja-bitch:

rafi-dangelo:

1) We don’t want to talk to you.

2) We don’t want to pause our music to talk to you.

3) We don’t even talk to each other on the phone — why would we want to talk to you?

But the biggest reason is A TRAIL. If I e-mail you back, you can see what was said in the future. You can’t tell me I forgot to tell you something because it’s right there. You can’t tell me I “never reached out” because we can both SEE it. I don’t have to trust your recollection.

And, in a group inbox, you can see who has been responded to. I got forwarded a voicemail from my supervisor (through e-mail! imagine that!) asking me to call some lady back for clarification. So I did, against my will of course…and she said somebody had called her yesterday.

Who? When? What did y’all talk about? Is follow-up necessary?

Phone calls back and forth only work in a workflow where the standard procedure is to *log* phone calls in a shared system with a brief summary of what was discussed. Otherwise, y’all need to let us e-mail. It’s not just about a generation gap. It’s also about efficiency.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk. Any feedback can be proffered via e-mail.

EDIT

Also: let’s keep it real – we multi-task better than you do. If I’m on the phone with you, I’m FORCED to do that ONE thing and put whatever you want above all the other things I could’ve been doing. If you e-mail me, I can research what you want (while doing other things), find the solution (while doing other things), and offer it to you in a nice concise package (while doing other things) without sitting on the phone with you in awkward silence looking for the answer to whatever you think is urgent. (It’s not urgent. You’re not dying. I know it’s not urgent.)

OP is being kind in saying “i don’t have to trust your recollection.” people straight up lie, especially customers.

Also co-workers. You will come across so many co-workers in offices who are straight up gaslighting manipulators who hate their life and lash out through micro-aggressions at everyone around them that doesn’t clique with them.

If you are targeted by a co-worker who tries to get you in trouble and fired, you need records and paper trails/email trails to keep your shit tight.
That’s how you front up when bosses call you in over bullshit a co-worker is flinging.

Workplace bullying is alive and well, especially in office environments. Protect yourself with as much documentation evidence as you can. People trying to trip you will always be trying to communicate with you untraceably, take notes of every convo and tell people it’s so you don’t forget anything because you’re a super organised person.

ABSOLUTE WARNING, REBLOG THIS ASAP.

BAD NEWS AHEAD
If you use Tumblr, backup your stuff right now and make a post redirecting your followers to another account, Twitter or something like that
Apple removed Tumblr from the App Store because their porn bot problem got too big, and they don’t allow explicit NSFW apps
Tumblr, like the galaxy-brained geniuses they are, are going on a spree and deleting lots of NSFW blogs
Even famous artists like cutesexyrobots and eigaka got their blogs purged, so ACT QUICK

@eemamminy

Blogs arent getting deleted on purpose and yall need to stop starting mass panick literally right now cause its annoying

For those unaware because staff isn’t saying it

Tumblr was deemed too full of inappropriate content to be allowed to be downloaded from the app store.

It has this “inappropriate” problem because of rampant porn ad bot accounts. The old solutions were bots to detect image sets with nsfw content, the automatically enabled safe mode, tag filtering for mobile, and wide takedowns of nsfw bots based on words used (that’s why their messages are full of numbers and symbols, to evade this)

Tumblr released their own bot supposedly capable of wiping the ad bots, but it’s taking down many popular blogs, possibly due to sheer amounts of posting or sheer amounts of ad bots in their notes. This bot was likely rushed to be put out.

You are more likely to be accidentally flagged if you post external links, as well. If your acct is taken down you CAN get it back, but it’s a pain. E-mail tumblr support for help with this. It takes down side blogs with the main ones.

I’ll be halting posts for about a week or until this problem is fixed.
