@vaknosh has been reading my ‘songs/ballads’ i’ve been writing and wanted some orc ones. Here he goes that nerd. The first is above the cut, the second is below.
On demon’s wings born of ash
The orcs did quake beneath the lash
Mannoroth, they did call
He held the chains that bound us all
Like slaves we were beneath his yoke
The flames of rage he did thus stoke
Years we slaved beneath his gaze
Our sight marred by the haze
Then one day came two heroes stood
They cried ‘we’re bound by brotherhood’
Thrall the savior, Grom the First
Both set out to quell blood thirst
Within the pits of blackest hell
They swore they’d slay the demon fel
Thrall did strike, but woe in vain
Mannoroth stood, their foe not slain
The demon charged and thus struck Thrall
And lo he flew, and thus did fall
Yet Grommash stood, tall and strong
And let loose the mighty Warsong!
He swung Gorehowl, let it sing!
The song of death it did so bring!
The demon fell, yet not alone
A scorching blast that seared the bone
Grommash fell, Thrall to his side
And thus the warchief claimed with pride
“He’s saved us all,
from demon’s curse”
“The Blood haze lifts,
and does disperse”
Heroes die, legends live
The gift of story we thus give
To Grommash Hellscream, first to thirst!
The one who saved the blood curst
