I hate that in 99% of tutorials to RP races, it’s always about sticking to their stereotypes and culture and You Can’t Have It Any Other Way. Like. Lemme explain

It’s always like for example “Tauren are peaceful, really strong big cuddly plushies unless you piss them off”. So then people only register Tauren = most peaceful race of the Horde. But while it’s true, it still means you can have a murderous Tauren. One that disrespect nature and want to cook the Alliance eveyday. Anything. It’s not wrong in the lore. There are vilains Tauren canonly too anyway.

Just take real life stereotypes of your culture / country and see if they ALL apply to you. Chances are, maybe you have a few, but definitely not all of them. Well it’s the same thing with WoW races.

Greedy goblins are a thing, but so are selfless goblins. You can have all kind of undead.

Pandaren aren’t all travelers, tea & stories, hospitality winners, there’s also the bad it very ones. Like you know that grandma pandaren that turned people and animals into Jade ? YeAh.

Any race can be anything. Please don’t listen and have FUN creating your chars, you let people put limits where there’s none.

Y’all, please listen to this song. This is Mongolian folk rock by a new band called the HU, it’s the only song they’ve got out so far but it is a strong start, holy shit.

According to one of the comments on the video, it’s sung from the perspective of the spirits of the ancestors, who are lamenting that politicians aren’t keeping their word, Mongolians are discriminating against each other over their provincial origin or bloodline, and the traditional wisdom of the elders is being lost. The English translation in the captions isn’t great, but you really don’t need it to enjoy the song. This is going to be stuck in my head all weekend.
