It’s always the time to address that.

It fucking sucks. Horde is all about marginalized communities, but it also attracts toxic cishet boys with something to prove and it needs to stop.

So fellow Horde RP friends, please shout down the homophobes, make LGBT inclusive RP events and guilds, show bigots they don’t deserve to be in the Horde community. Those of us who can, should. Because there are other LGBT people out there in our faction who feel like they don’t have a space and a voice, and I won’t stand for it. 

Also for those wondering here’s a great way to make an “inclusive RP event” or an “inclusive RP guild” here’s a quick rundown:

• Don’t come up with reasons (lore-based or otherwise) why LGBT+ characters should not be included
• If your event/guild cannot exist without reasons why LGBT+ characters should not be included, the event/guild is dumb
• Spending more than ten minutes trying to come up with a reason for why LGBT+ characters should not/cannot be included means that the reason you’ll arrive at was found through mental gymnastics.

THE POINT OF RP IS TO GET PEOPLE TOGETHER! 

INCLUSION BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER! 

BIGOTRY PUSHES PEOPLE APART!

IF LORE ACCURACY MEANS LGBT+ CAN’T PARTICIPATE, DITCH IT!
