Yeah good luck with trying to make all of Mexico support legal anime streaming Toei

they really think this is gonna work in the places where they paint goku on every other taquerita? lmao

From my extremely limited understanding of this situation, people were planning to use Crunchyroll, and according to a few comments that I’ve read, it is completely legal to broadcast in public areas as long as you’re using their service, but I must admit that I’m not entirely acknowledged in such things.

I mean, from what I understand they’ll have the episode first on Crunchyroll on Saturday, 7:15PM (central) with subs before its official broadcast in Japan (Sunday morning), so maybe that’s why Toei is reacting like this.

I must say that this is not looking good, I don’t know much about Crunchyroll but maybe they can intentionally geoblock us Mexico and some other Latin American countries for the last two episodes? (Is that even possible?)

It also doesn’t help when some (but not everyone) of these potential screenings are actually being sponsored by the governments of a few states. And while it is true that my country sometimes doesn’t give a fuck about copyright laws, when it comes to actually support a product in order to receive even more support from foreign companies such as Toei and other anime studios, that’s where the mexican anime fans that actually care will start supporting and using legal services such as Crunchyroll.

Who knows dude, I guess all that’s left to do is to watch and see what happens.

Toei has underestimated Mexico’s power level for the last time
