Argus should have been a Draenei, world souls should reflect the dominant native species of their planet
Ps Azeroth is a troll and Draenor obviously is an Orc just fuckin saying
Except Draenor doesn’t have a world soul because it doesn’t have a titan sleeping in it, specifically mentions this in Warcraft chronicles
Draenor is an orc whose shattered pieces are barely held together, my good dude
Draenor is an orc made of rocks floating in space, it’s canon
I love this idea because it raises all kinds of interesting questions about what the ‘dominant native species’ of a given planet might be, how it would be determined, or whether or not it could change.
It also means that, whenever we visit a new world, we learn something about it when/if we encounter its world soul.
Eventually, we may arrive at a world that seems completely barren. No forests, no oceans, no life forms. Just vast, endless wastes of void-warped rocks and other creatures of the void.
We reach the dormant world soul when she calls out to us from her eons-long slumber, sequestered away by the last remnants of the dying civilization created to protect her.
After a long and grueling raid, we arrive at the center and we discover… a murloc.
Technically, the titan world soul in Azeroth shaped the Dark Trolls in her image after they settled around the well of eternity, not the other way around. Something similar might have happened to the draenei.
Draenor is an orc made of spikes floating in space.
