the “Places that practice this ideology: Alterac” part right at the end of the page singlehandedly makes this the most powerful piece of bad writing ever penned about fake World of Warcraft politics

This looks like either Kormed or Rhalitra’s work, but since they’re both in the same Guild, it really doesn’t matter who authored it
They’re both obsessed with making the tiny and defunct kingdom of Alterac into a 20th Century industrial superpower, like Soviet Russia under Stalin or what Hitler tried to make Germany into
The minute you find them producing massive amounts of steel and tanks, you know what they’re going for in terms of aesthetic
Why do the colors of this logo match the same colors as used in anarcho-capitalism?
Because Rhalitra himself is a self-described “Tea Party Republican” and when you read his ideology fanon, it does support that fringe conservative group and others’ ideas about gun ownership freedom and the military draft
But if you’re really wanting to get disgusted, check the other flags on their Guild page and the affiliated fanon organizations. Some are pretty blatant in terms of Nazi and fascist symbolism, including this:
It’s borrowed from the WW1 era German Navy Flag, but with the colors modified and the Iron Cross and black/white/red background in the upper-left taken out. Still, the inverted cross is there and the eagles on both are on the midpoint of the crosses. That’s from their “Alterac Commonwealth” group, now disbanded because they’re all in the same Guild now
The eagle they’re using is from an old sketch by Metzen himself as the flag of Alterac in the old Warcraft games, but adding a wreath to it is something the Nazis did in an attempt to copy the ancient Roman legions’ banners—though America did the same thing, but with the eagle holding an olive branch and arrows (symbolizing peace or war) instead of the fasces or the swaztika.
Now there’s their current flag, which to me is a whole mess of things crammed into one picture. Why he’s jammed the old Lordaeron symbol (was blue, but the Scarlet Crusade turned it red) into it is beyond me because he’s already displaying his love of the Scarlets with the crimson flame in the center. But when you consider where the flame is in relation to the eagle, it looks like the bird itself is on fire and that’s some “Graphic Design is my Passion” kind of shit right there.
He had to add the Wolf Head from the WoW Guild icon selection as his personal stamp onto the flag, since he’s changed his name from Lionblood (because his friend Mathilian in Kingdom/Legion of Arathor kicked him out of the fanon noble house once he started trouble) to Wolfheart and he actually references himself as “The Wolf [of Alterac]”.
But given his Nazi tendencies and the fact he had his buddy and former guildmate Kavid perform the Sieg Heil for him, I’d have to wager that the wolf shit is another nod to the Nazi aesthetic—because Hitler himself was basically a wolf furry, what by calling his hideout “the Wolf’s Lair” and calling his fighter squadrons and submarine groups “Wolf Packs”, plus that Nazi propaganda fairy tale used by the Nazis in schools about how the Big Bad Wolf was “right” to chase and kill the weak rabbit and how kids should be wolves rather than rabbits (and that goes back to Hitler feeling immasculated by Germany’s defeat in WW1 and the whole “make Germany a strong and respected nation again” gimmick)
But for fun, here’s two more of Rhalitra’s Soviet-inspired (but not really Soviet, because fuck commies) flags for his industrialist and imperialist fanon organizations within the Guild
