If someone you’re RPing with whispers you and asks you to stop what you’re doing, please don’t say, “It’s just IC,” or “I’m just having fun.” Say, “I’m sorry, I’ll stop now,” and quit. It’s that simple.
Please respect other players’ boundaries.
Similar phrases also apply.
“You’re making me uncomfortable”
“I don’t want to do this with my muse.”
“I don’t like where this is heading.”Etc…
Just, apologize and stop.
FLIP-SIDE:
No one’s a mind reader. If something in RP is making you uncomfortable, – or you don’t want to participate in an activity or event that’s happening – Tell the person that they’re making you uncomfortable. Give them the opportunity to take the high road.
