Can some other depressed people give me some tips for how to get myself to work?? I have so much work due and I just do not have the ability to care about doing it but it needs to get done :/ usually this isn’t so bad/the depression lulls dot last this long but I have a major due date coming up and I don’t want to do anything other than sleep.

Block scheduling your life puts your life tasks into time chunks to be completed like compartmentalized tasks. It’s the only way I’ve been able to deal with my depression.

That’s not a bad idea – I bought a planner and a notebook to go with it recently to try to combat my disorganization and inability to schedule myself, so I guess if nothing else starting today to try and physically write down/set in stone my tasks and when I should do them might make things a little easier and less like an insurmountable task looming over me. Thanks Felth!

I’ve actually started bullet journals a couple months ago after you get a rhythm of it it’s pretty relaxing too.

I function by placing reminders on my phone’s Calendar to remind me to do things. I use this mostly for work, as I can easily get stuck on one task and letting others build up until they’re horrible, terrible piles of anxiety that feel impossible to accomplish. Helps build a routine too, which is also a good thing for anxiety and depression in my experience.

Also, Medisafe is a good app for reminding me to take my meds.
