I’ll give blizzard credit the Garrosh vs. Thrall battle in WoD is STILL talked about and discussed to this day.

why

Because to this day people believe Thrall cheated and that Garrosh was in the right of the fight. 

I’m of the opinion that neither Thrall nor Garrosh cheated in the fight, but simply didn’t use the ~traditional~ rules that no one ever used anyway in any depiction of a mak’gora ever.

And about 90% of the time, people just say he cheated because they’ve had a hateboner for Thrall because Cata happened.

if anyone watched the cinematic, both thrall and garrosh are wearing body armor, there’s only one witness (the player), and no one blesses the weapons used – which is contrary to the rules outlined on the mok’gora wowpedia page

even if it was a mok’gora, who the fuck cares of “thrall cheated” or not because he used magic (which isn’t outlined); garrosh was a piece of shit mass murderer and needed to die

Garrosh: mass murdering, dead Old God heart juice drinking, Eternal Vale destroying genocidal asshole who made his own timeline because of his daddy issues and desire to prove that orcs can be totally evil all on their own without fel magic

Thrall: saved the orcs, rebuilt the Horde into Not Evil, used some magic mirror and some rock magic once to kill an evil dragon once to save the world in a bad plotline and didn’t follow the rules of a duel that no one else ever follows either, such as Garrosh in that very same duel

“Damn, clearly that fucker Thrall is the problem”
