If you think that people should allowed to be nazis because of freedom of speech laws, you’re a sympathizer.

agree

Thinking you’re more open-minded, mature, and wise for taking the neutral stance, listening to all sides, and allowing all opinions the right to exist has its place. The current political climate is not its place.

This isn’t a case of people vocally expressing dislike in superficial thing like a movie or food, nor is it people expressing distaste in a harmless subculture lifestyle. This is a case of people openly pushing to deny the rights or even lives of ethnic, racial, religious, gender, or sexual orientation groups.

You abandon your rights to freedom of speech the moment you use it to try and deny someone their freedom to live.

It’s not just a ‘difference in opinion’, it’s a difference in morals and ethics.

Freedom of speech is freedom to not be persecuted by or face retaliation from your own government for your opinions.

Freedom of speech is not freedom of consequences of your speech. It is not freedom to spout hate and preach for genocide and expect to be tolerated. It is not freedom from the potential to be punched in the face because you pissed someone off by being a jackass.
